Besides fictional mysteries, there's a lot of real life mysteries out there.
Amelia
Earhart's disappearance
is still puzzling to this day.
Deepseeker has
a good detailed article regarding her. Check it out!

Rex Stout
Probably my favorite author of
detective and mystery stories. You've got to love Nero Wolfe, and
especially his assistant Archie. A highly recommended series of books!
Erle Stanley Gardner
I prefer Gardner's Perry
Mason books over his other stories. It's always fun to see if I can
guess "whodunnit". Another highly recommended series.
Agatha Christie I enjoy Christie's
Poirot novels the best - I'm not crazy about Miss Marple mysteries. I can
usually figure out the guilty party in these.
Patricia Cornwell One of the new
writers that I enjoy. _The Body Farm_ was her best so far.
