My husband and I adopted an adorable puppy January 28, 1997.

Her name is Whisky, and she's a catahoula mix. She was abandoned before Christmas at a truck stop near town.

Whisky's really sweet! She loves people (and HATES other female dogs) and is sometimes a bit too friendly. She's finally been housebroken, and has learned a few basic commands, like "sit", "shake", "other paw", and "lie down", all of which she'll happily do for a treat!
