Carlyle Weiss
is a 30 year professor of music at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY and has been restoring antique stoves for 20 years.
Specializing in base burners and currently possessing one of the largest base burner collections in the US, Carlyle has restored stoves dating from the 1840's to the 1940's and works with both gas and wood cooking and heating stoves.
Weiss's collection of stoves represents the leading manufacturers including Garland, Andes, Wherle, Glenwood, Universal, Favorite, O'Keefe, and Merrit.

Pictured to the right is one of the most sought after stoves around, a Wherle 100.

Also of special interest to Weiss is the conversion of wood cooking stoves to either gas or electric with ovens converted to electric. Ornate heating stoves can be converted to gas (propane) log burning, preserving the antique look while adding modern functionality.

For an example of this please see the photo to the right featuring a Glenwood E which has been converted to gas.

With 20 years of experience in dealing with only high quality and often quite rare antique stoves, Carlyle Weiss is able to offer craftsmanship that many others cannot. In fact, Carlyle stands behind his stoves with a warranty on all of his work.
This quality of work is clearly seen when one considers that Carlyle has scores of satisfied customers from coast to coast including doctors, business executives, and even famous entertainers.
Willing to work with the customer, take on special requests, and to deliver anywhere in the world, Carlyle Weiss is the clear choice in Antique Stoves. And with prices ranging from $1000 to $10,000 Weiss has stoves for everyone.

To the right you will see one of Carlyle's personal favorites, an Art Andes 180.
