We welcomed Lucas John Thorsness into the world on 21 October, at 1:38 AM. Lucas was quite the strapping young man, tipping the scales at 9 lbs 4.5 oz. He was 22 inches long and, as his sister is proud to note, had a head as big as hers was. His hair is a light red -- I suspect hešll be one of those to bleach out to blond fairly readily. Rebecca was present at the birth and was quite impressed. I was quite impressed, too...
