Hey!  My name is Tammy Lee and I graduated from Dubois High School in Dubois, Wyoming.  Dubois is a small town of 895 people.  Dubois is located in the northwestern corner of the state.  It is about 80 away from the south gate of Yellowstone National Park.   A cool fact is that Dubois has one of the world’s largest herds of Big Horn Sheep!

I moved to Dubois from Livermore, California when I was 10 years old.  Livermore had 70 thousand people, I was really shocked when I moved to Dubois to find that there was no McDonalds or stoplights. That took a little while to get use to.

Many people ask me, “Why did you move here?”  Believe it wasn’t by choice.  After my dad graduated form Dubois High School he went into the Navy, where he met my mom.  He proposed to her and said, “ If you marry me, in 20 year we are going to move here!”  22 years, two kids later, we were in Dubois, Wyoming.

Now that I have adapted to the small town life, I really enjoy living in Dubois being in the outdoors.  I love to go camping, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling and rollerblading.  I always find something new whenever I am outside!  Being in the outdoors for me is a great way to relief stress and to get just get away from town.

Since the town is sooo small, I had to make my own fun.  One of my favorite past times is to work!  I know that sounds crazy, but in a small town, with nothing else to do, I learn to love to wait tables.  I love being around people and when I wait tables I meet ALL different kinds of people.

I also LOVE to travel.  In two years, I have been to 7 countries.  I have been to England, France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, and Northern and Southern Ireland.  In the summer of 2002 I will be going to Australia.  As far I would say that my favorite country is Spain.  The buildings are beautiful and it is really cheap.  I really liked Ireland too because for one thing I could actually understand the people there and because it is so green and beautiful.  It’s beautiful because the buildings mostly come from the 1800’s and they are stone-walls all over the place which make it look authentic.

Now that I have “traveled Europe,” and have graduated from high school, I now am attending the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming.  I am undecided on my major, but I think my future my major will have something to do with travel or children.  I love being around kids.  When I use to baby-sit all the time when I was younger and I love how kids act.  They don’t have a care in the world and yet they have sooo much just being themselves.

The reason I am doing this web page is so that I can get more experienced with using computers and making web pages.  The web page is also to allow people to know what I am learning about in my college classes while attending the University of Wyoming.

In my web page, I hope to be able to show people how I have advanced in learning, reading and as a citizen.
