My name is Michelle Curry. I am currently a student at the University of Wyoming majoring in Physical Education Teaching. I am originally from Montana where I graduated from Carter County High School in a small town named Ekalaka. I plan to graduate from UW in a few years and begin teaching in a smaller town in a western state.
For enjoyment, I like to be outdoors doing just about anything. I like to camp with my friends or go swimming at a local pond. I also enjoy playing most sports. I like to hang out with my friends and I enjoy joking around with one of the Downey Hall deskworkers, Cindy Larralde from Baggs, Wyoming.
This is a picture of my favorite Pro Basketball Player, Anfernee Hardaway. He is a great player and hopefully will lead Orlando to a championship this year with the splitting up of the usually powerful Chicago Bulls. I keep up on all of the latest sports action by checking out ESPN.com.
My family and friends are very important to me. I have an older brother, Jeff, who is attending MSU-Bozeman and majoring in math; a younger sister, Megan, who is a freshman at Carter County High School; and a younger brother Jarred, who is an eigth grader at Ekalaka Junior High. My parents, Kim and Sherrie, live on a farm/ranch 20 miles south of Ekalaka where my dad raises cattle and wheat. My mom works at the local high school where she is a Special Ed. Aide.
Two of my best friends from high school also attend the University of Wyoming. J.D. majors in Business and is trying to get a new fraternity up up and going here at UW. Katie is a pharmacy major who plays basketball in her spare time. Cliner, as Katie is often called, also enjoys dressing up in pretty clothes and partying. My friend Heather attends the University of Mary in Bismarck, where she plays basketball. This old lady is getting married to fine young chap soon. I also have a new friend here at UW who makes me laugh. Aisha, who is majoring in elementary education is from Gering, Nebraska and although she may have dark hair, she is truly a "blonde"!!
