The LaRamie River Black Powder Brigade was established in 1979 to promote the sport of blackpowder shooting. The bylaws were amended in 1993 to include the promotion of 1800's historical activities. Club activities include: Monthly meetings, monthly craft nights, monthly shoots, Annual 4th Grade Rendezvous, Annual Primitive Rendezvous, Annual Blanket Shoot, Annual Buffalo Days Reenactment. Dues are 15.00 per year.
Funding for the non-profit organization comes from annual events,
monthly shoots, special activities and membership dues. Funds are used for
insurance, newsletters and prizes.
